International Symposia in Corvey

From the 30th September to the 1st October 2010 and on the 10th December 2010, international symposia were held on the subject of  ‘Corvey, a Carolingian Imperial Abbey - an International Perspective’ (Corvey - une abbaye imperiale carolingienne en perspective internationale) at Schloss Corvey and the University of Paderborn.

The symposia were organised by the Kulturkreis Höxter-Corvey in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Energy, Construction, Housing and Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia, the University of Paderborn (Department of Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage UNESCO) and the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe and North Rhine-Westphalia. The results of these symposia have been included as an independent volume in the official application documentation.
